What is Bircher Muesli?
The original Bircher muesli consists of oat flakes, grated apples, lemon juice, nuts and sweetened condensed milk. It was created at the beginning of the 20th century by Dr. Maximilian Oskar Bircher-Benner, a Swiss doctor.
We have reinterpreted and refined the original recipe. This resulted in our delicious Bircher Muesli and the distinctive Verival Bircher Porridge.

The origin of all mueslis
Bircher muesli marked the beginning of modern muesli culture. Dr. Maximilian Oskar Bircher-Benner developed this recipe as part of a health-conscious diet. This revolutionary idea emphasized the benefits of raw and unprocessed ingredients that are easily digestible and nutritious. His approach laid the foundation for the variety of mueslis we know and love today. Over time, numerous variations have developed, which continue to be based on the principles of freshness, nutritional value and ease of preparation.
